Concrete Pumping Services

We don't pour the concrete; we put it exactly where your finishers need it. By skipping the wheelbarrows, you prevent site damage, eliminate cold joints, and drastically reduce your labor costs.

Boom Pump Dispatch

Engineered for high-volume yardage and extreme reach. Our truck-mounted booms operate above the job site, completely bypassing ground obstacles, deep excavations, and rebar grids. Ideal for commercial foundations, multi-story structural columns, and massive industrial pours.

  • Reach capacity from 32-meters to 47-meters
  • Output capability exceeding 160 cubic yards per hour
  • Roll-and-Fold & Z-Fold models for low overhead clearance

Line Pump Services

When a massive boom truck cannot access the site, we rely on ground-based line pumps. By running flexible 2-inch or 3-inch hoses along the ground, we navigate tight residential lots, narrow urban alleyways, and fenced-in backyards without damaging the property.

  • Perfect for driveways, pool decks, and house footers
  • Masonry block fill and tight-access grouting
  • Up to 300+ feet of horizontal hose reach available
  • Handles standard aggregates and pea-gravel mixes

Pricing Factors & Job Minimums

Concrete pumping quotes are not one-size-fits-all. We provide transparent billing to general contractors and homeowners alike. Pricing depends on equipment utilization, time-on-site, and total yardage pumped.

Hourly Minimums

Most dispatch jobs carry a standard 4-hour minimum (portal-to-portal). This accounts for the operator's travel time from our Jacksonville yard, physical setup of outriggers/hoses, pumping time, and the mandatory washout phase.

Per-Yard Fees

Once the base minimum is met, jobs are billed on a per-cubic-yard basis. High-volume commercial pours pushing over 100+ yards often qualify for volume-adjusted yardage rates.

Washout Compliance

EPA regulations demand strict handling of residual Portland cement. If the General Contractor does not provide a compliant, lined washout bin on-site, we must charge an environmental washout fee to transport the slurry back to our facility.

Slump Requirements

To prevent blockages (plugging) in our lines, we require a pumpable mix—typically a 4" to 6" slump. Extremely stiff mixes may incur delays or require specialty high-pressure equipment adjustments.

Our Pumping Fleet

We operate industry-standard Putzmeister and Schwing equipment. Our fleet undergoes rigorous hydrostatic pressure testing and daily DOT inspections to ensure zero downtime when the ready-mix trucks arrive.

47M

47-Meter Roll & Fold

The ultimate workhorse for massive commercial foundations and multi-story setups. Requires a 25x30 ft firm footprint for outrigger deployment.

LINE

Trailer Line Pumps

High-pressure diesel rigs designed to pump 3/4-inch aggregate mixes over long horizontal distances. Standardized for residential driveways and patios.

Ready-Mix Coordination

We don't supply the concrete, but we ensure it flows perfectly. We coordinate dispatch timing directly with local Northeast Florida ready-mix plants (including Cemex, Argos, and Vulcan) to ensure a steady supply of trucks. This eliminates cold joints, prevents waiting time, and keeps your pour on schedule.

Technical Questions

Concrete Pumping FAQ

What is the difference between a boom pump and a line pump? +
A boom pump is a large truck equipped with a hydraulic, remote-controlled arm (the boom) that unfolds to pour concrete at high elevations or over obstacles. They are designed for high-volume commercial pours like multi-story buildings and large foundations.

A line pump (or trailer pump) uses flexible ground hoses to manually route concrete through tight spaces, such as residential backyards, narrow alleys, or inside existing structures. They are the go-to choice for driveways, patios, and residential pools where heavy trucks cannot park.
How much space do you need to set up a boom pump? +
Safety is our priority. A standard 38-meter boom pump requires a firm, level area of approximately 25 feet by 30 feet to safely extend its outriggers. The soil must be stable enough to handle significant ground pressure. Additionally, the boom must maintain a strict 20-foot radial clearance from any active overhead power lines.
Do I need to order a specific concrete mix for pumping? +
Yes. Concrete intended for pumping must have sufficient mortar and water content to lubricate the lines. We generally require a 4-inch to 6-inch slump. Extremely rocky or dry mixes (low slump) will cause blockages in the hose or bridging in the hopper. Always tell your ready-mix provider that the concrete will be pumped so they batch the correct aggregate ratio.
Who cleans up the pump washout? +
Per EPA guidelines, our operators must wash out the pump hopper and lines before driving on public roads. It is the responsibility of the General Contractor or homeowner to provide a designated, plastic-lined washout pit or washout bag on the job site. If one is not provided, we will utilize a haul-off washout bag for an additional environmental fee.
